" Albus Dumbledore, master wizard and Headmaster of Hogwarts, is gay........"Could someone please tell me Why, a modern Classic Children's Story, that even I the grump of groumpers, found to be the greatest children's story to be written since Cinderella, be with one statement relegated to the trash can! To take a purely fantasy children's book and turn it into a vehicle to forward the agenda for the QUEER COMMUNITY is beyond the comprehension of my mind. She has destroyed any relevance to purely fanciful un-issue binding literary writing and turned it into nothing more than a "X" Rated cheep novel that should only be sold in a plain brown wrapper to people over the age of 21. But then what does she care.....she has made her money!
Is this really what our world has degenerated into? I for one am truly saddened and disappointed! God save the Innocent Children.....they surely need it in today's world!

Southview I think your reaction is exactly why the author might have done this. Up until the moment you heard this "news" you felt this book was one of the all time greats. And then without a single word changing, no twists in the plot, not even a re-reading and you have condemned this book to pornography. The very same book just days ago you no doubt would have recommended to anyone. Nothing in the book has changed, just your opinion of it.

Equally silly in this "revelation" are members of the gay community who were quoted as saying "Gay human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell said: “It’s good that children’s literature includes the reality of gay people, since we exist in every society." After all the people who read the series didn't pick up on it, homosexuality is now considered included in children's literature?
And
"A spokesman for gay rights group Stonewall said: “It’s great that JK has said this. It shows that there’s no limit to what gay and lesbian people can do, even being a wizard headmaster.”" Its a book people, a book of fiction, anybody can do whatever they want, including riding a flying car. Following this thought, the auto industry should have been giddy realizing what they can accomplish.

The whole premise of the story line has been filthafied from a great fantasy story that had no appairent hidden agenda or sublime message, other than the ever present battle between Good and Evil. Southview, its the exact same book it was two days ago. Same characters, same dialog, same plot - if the author hadn't said anything you would be no more the wiser and would still be loving the book.

Because of this revaluation the book in the library how has to be moved from the children's section, to the alternate lifestyle section with the 21 and older reading restriction! And I will see that it is!

From a purely clinical perspective. The sensation of anal sex (full insertion), is pleasurable to males because they possess a prostate gland. After the initial discomfort of passing the anus, male is the sex that would obtain real stimulation because of the manipulation (contact with penis) of the prostate. This would in turn result in full discharge.
