Forget benches. Wasilla doesn't even have sidewalks.
While both Barrett and Palin are very forceful mayors who used patronage to build a support base, somehow I doubt JBIII will be running for Governor anytime soon.
With the looks of how Republicans choose running mates for the VP position, I wouldn't be surprised to see Barrett on the ticket in 2012. He's just as qualified as Palin.
